WITHHOLDING DEPOSIT NOWHERE TO BE FOUND BY ABSA

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I've received from ABSA BANK. Despite multiple attempts to resolve an issue with a withholding deposit that was cancelled by the Car Rental Company on the 2nd of April 2025 and not being released by ABSA, I've been met with complete silence. No response to my complaints, no updates on the status of my issue, and no resolution in sight.

The lack of communication and customer care is appalling. It's unacceptable for a bank to ignore its customers' concerns. I've tried to reach out through various channels, but all I'm being told is to wait.

I would not recommend ABSA to anyone. The bank's inability to respond to customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner is a major red flag. If you value your time and money, I would suggest looking elsewhere for your banking needs.
