Why did Shanice rescore me for a limit increase

I app**** for a limit increase on my card on the 14/02/2016. All good it was provisionally approved on the net. And it provided me with the new limit. I called the call centre this afternoon to follow up and spoke to Shanice May you rescore me and the application declined. What exactly is going on? My credit score is now getting low as credit checks are been done on my name frequently. Also I lodge a complaint last year about my risk grading and still it's not fix. And received feedback it was. What is going on really I would like to know.. If Absa does not want to increase my limit I will be glad to close off the account as it is a small balance and move else where.
