Why advertise it and it doesn't work?

<p>Absa has this Reward program for their student account holders. We can redeem vouchers from McDonalds, KFC, etc. Also discount on bus tickets are available. All this for R21 p/m. So I pay my R21 every month, after this promotion had been advertised on campus for weeks! And when I try to redeem the vouchers, it works, and I receive a sms saying that the voucher will be sent shortly. "Shortly" became days and weeks. And this is not the first time for it to happen. So why have a rewards program, when it doesn't work or it only presents empty promises?</p>
