Where's my dollars?

I had funds deposited into my account from abroad. The amount that was deposited varied from the original deposit amount by a large sum even when converting from US$ to ZAR. <br> When I asked ABSA about the deductions and to explain what they were for, they could not give me an answer and told me to revert to the person who made the deposit. I made certain with the depositor that they paid in the full amount without deductions, which they did. <br> I then asked ABSA for a statement displaying and explaining the fees deducted and have not received anything yet. ABSA has yet unable to supply me with valid reason or a statement explaining the fees and why the full amount was not transferred to my account.
