Where is my pension??

When I left a large corporate company I decided to place my pension with ABSA, I've split this into a pension preservation fund and a retirement annuity, this is also the bank I bank with and decided this makes logical sense. A year later the financial adviser I was dealing with left ABSA and ever since I was in the dark. Unknown to me was the policy numbers, for the same reason I don't know my Credit Card number with ABSA, as it is with my bank I assumed they would keep track of this. Now a year later I was by chance thinking of merging the two investments within ABSA (restructure then for the lack of a better word), but after NUMEROUS emails, calls and visits to the bank this soon went from a information gathering session to plain trying to track down my policies. After I was still unable to find this information I signed a STOP order on any further debits orders for these polices. The debit order went off Yesterday again and I'm still unable to find out exactly where my pension fund is or what is happening to this? The most shocking part is, 1 financial adviser working for ABSA leaves, and EVERYTHING is chaos. The moment I track down and secure my policies I'm moving Banks.
