When the ***** department turns its back on you

I logged a call with ***** department in December after I noticed that an amount of R400 had been deducted from my account every month and I had not created it.

I was told to get an affidavit and open a case (which I did). I got a ***** reference number, the works.

I then noticed that since reporting the ***** case an amount of R399 was deducted from my account. I sent an email to the ***** email address ~ no response.

I phoned the ***** department this morning and their agent was still adamant that I created the payment on my app. He then said should call their internet banking department and do the enquiry.

It turns out that the amount was being deducted since 10 months ago. A lil’ detail they don’t know is that I was unemployed and could not have created a payment when I had no income.

All I ask is for a refund for my money and that the R400 (now R399) is investigated and my money is reimbursed.

I need the money but Absa ***** had turned their back on me.

This is the second time that money has been *****ulently taken out of my Absa account. Is this how they cover up for their own?
