What has happened to ABSA the peoples bank???

For the past few months I have been living on a farm in rural South Africa I have tried to cancel my current account with ABSA because I have untreatable cancer and now have only a few weeks to live I was told to go into the branch to cancel the account. The more I tried to explain that that was not possible the more intractable the call centre persons became. I am now travelling to die in the UK with my family and my account which had a zero balance 3 months ago has jumped to R8000.00 with no transactions being processed in this time. Again the call centre is We don’t care just pay!!!
