What are absa rewards?

What are absa rewards, cause I'm paying for them, but according to some people at the bank I'm not registered, according to the call center I am registered.

I sent two complaint emails in Feb but did not even receive a response. I then went to the branch near me and was put on the phone with the call center, where I was told that I would receive my rewards on the 1st of March, despite the fact that I'd been registered since 31 Dec. I patiently waited till the 1st of March, but received nothing. I went back to the bank and the man behind the counter told me that I am in fact not registered for ABSA rewards, which shocked me, as by then - there had been 3 debit orders for ABSA rewards, strange... He does not know what's going on when he sees my statement, and sees that I am in fact being billed for rewards. Soooo back to the call center. The person on the other side of the line does reassure me that I am in fact registered. Now why am I not hearing the same message from both people?

The person on the phone then tells me that there are 0 transactions on my card, I wonder where all my money went, cause i sure as hell didn't draw it at the ATM. I advise that they look at my statement, and the person tells me someone will be tending to it, and manually calculating my rewards, the issue was escalated and I am told it will take between 5 and 15 working days for the issue to be handled. Today marks the 16th day, and guess who has not received an sms, phone call, email, a refund, or most importantly - any rewards.

3 full months of going out of my way to refill and shop at the stores they chose, all for nothing.
