What a strange world we encounter when dealing with ABSA Bank

I am putting this straight on Hello Peter as this seems to be the best way to get a response from ABSA, without many emails and much waiting. I had to make an immediate payment transfer to a person who had brought a car that I was buying from him from Port Elizabeth to me in Cape Town. He needed payment so that he could leave the car with me and fly back to PE. It was a Saturday morning. Totally shocked when ABSA told me I could not transfer more than 25000 on a Saturday, but could make multiple payments of 25000. This makes no sense whatsoever, but I did make 10 payments, all of which went through. I am now more than angry that I have been charged an immediate payment fee for each of the 10 payments. Please refund 9 charges and explain the difference between not being allowed to make one 250000 payment, but being allowed to make 10 x 25000 payments. Am I living in a parallel universe?
