Waste of time
British Airways keep telling me I should get a \BA Card\". Eventually I investigate and find it's a credit card run by ABSA. I almost abandoned the investigation at that point but decided to take it a step futher just to see. I fill in and submit an online form that replies that my application has been submitted and, on the SAME PAGE, that it could not be submited for an \"unnkown reason\". Email to the helpdesk. No reply. Try the form again - this time it submits. Back comes a shopping list of documents that are required to be submitted electronically. I submit them all, and even have them certified as requested. (Does nobody in ABSA wonder about the legal validity of a copy of a certified dooument?) Several days later I get an email saying that the photo on the ID is \"unclear\" and I must resubmit or my application will oe cancelled and I will have to do it all again.

Well, actually, I'm on leave and nowhere near my office. Also, how can the photo be unclear? It's a SCAN. That is what I look like. The State verified the likeness at the time that it issued the document to me.

What am I expected to do? Get a new ID book? I don't think so."
