Warning to ABSA vehicle finance customers!!

A warning to all ABSA customers who has vehicle finance with this bank: We've owned our vehicle for more than 4 years now and out of nowhere received communication from ABSA 2 months ago that they do not have a record of our insurance cover on the vehicle, and if we do not send proof of cover to them they will add vehicle insurance on our next premium.

We did what they asked, although very annoyed, and sent them the proof of cover with King Price Insurance. BUT THEY STILL WENT AHEAD AND DEDUCTED INSURANCE COVER ON THE NEXT PREMIUM!!

We contacted them AGAIN and asked them to confirm receipt of our cover, for which they acknowledged same via e-mail.

But to our disappointment...THEY DEDUCTED THE INSURANCE PREMIUM FOR A SECOND MONTH NOW IN A ROW!!

This is extremely frustrating and we feel that our personal finances are now being interfered with by ABSA who is clearly failing to keep their own house in order.

We will not buy another vehicle through ABSA again!!
