WARNING: NEVER LET ABSA EXECUTORS ADMINISTER YOUR WILL - Your family will be left penniless

This is a warning to anyone who knows of family and friends who have their wills with ABSA. My father wanted to appoint an attorney to be his executor but was misinformed that ABSA would do his will for free. He was not informed of the 3.5% executor fee and had a small estate . I am not sure if he needed to sign and agreement agreeing to the fee but we have never seen it? He would never have agreed had he known his wife would be penniless after ABSA administrated the estate. My 70 year old mother has been told that she has to pay in a shortfall of over R123 000. This will mean selling her house which is all she has, while Absa makes sure they collect their 3.5% which took 14 months to wind up. They charged over R18000 for a plumbing and elec certificate. I manage properties and have never paid more than R2000 for the same COC's. ABSA is ripping people off especially the elderly. I will make it my mission in life to tell everyone I know of this ****.
