Warning ABSA clients-R50k ****** from my Home Loan
I've entrusted my money in ABSA and R50k was ****** from my home loan acc, on the 20 Sep '15, through internet *****. After an alleged investigation, I received a Repudiation Letter on the 29 Sep '15, stipulating that they (ABSA) are not liable for this loss of funds.
I was not reckless or careless with my internet passwords as was put forward by ABSA as reason for non-refunding. Apparently, I can only hold the bank liable if I can proof negligence on their part. Approximately 120 ABSA clients also fell victim to this **** (internet ***** and SIM swaps). ABSA cannot claim that ?120 were reckless with their passwords in the same time?
Surely, ABSA must have processes and procedures in place to protect their 'clients' money.
I have challenged ABSA to proof that I was reckless with my password but they state that liability is on me to proof ABSA was negligent.
Why does ABSA accuse their client instead of supporting them, are clients' wealth/well-being not clearly stated in adverti*****ts.
ABSA does not care about their client. You leave me no option as to move my accounts to another bank - as will my family and friends.
I'll post my full story to Social Media to warn the public!
