Waiting, waiting, waiting and more waiting.

On 31 July 2016 me and my mom visited the branch of Absa at Cape Gate. My mom is still old school, and made an appointment a month earlier - by going in to the bank and making the appointment while standing in front of the lady (bank hostess) and watch her enter the appointment date and time in her appointment book.

When we arrived at 9h00, she walked up to this same lady (LM) and told her we are there for our nine o' clock appointment....

Well sad to say - the book had no mention of said appointment. LM asked us to be seated since the consultant is busy with another appointment. A good few minutes later she informed us that the consultant will be busy for quite a while longer and if we would mind seeing another consultant?

When she explained that the only other one can only speak english, my mom told her that we will have to wait.

So we waited and waited and waited...

And an hour later we where helped.

I missed another appointment because of this, and feel that I should complain about this poor service.

Another thing. I bank at a different bank, and was surprised that after our discussion with the consultant, we still had to go and stand in the cashier queue to do the business that resulted from our meeting. The c onsultant cannot do it for us - as I've seen it done at other banks.

I know she need to go in for another meeting mid August, and will keep you up to date.
