Waiting for bond approval

My husband and I are in the process of buying a house we have app**** to a bunch of different financial institutions for a bond. We have heard back from all the other banks FNB, Nedbank, STD the lot, but for some or other reason ABSA is refusing to give us a bond because according to them someone else has app**** for financing for the same property. I am loyal ABSA customer and we got our bond for our flat from them. I was very happy with ABSA until now. Why is it that all the other banks can offer us a bond, but ABSA is refusing? All we hear when we contact them is that another client also app****. Our current property has been sold and we have sent the paper work confirming this to absa and still they refuse. I really wanted to work with ABSA once again.<br> Can someone please explain why all the other banks can help us, but not ABSA?
