Waiting For A Letter

I am so disgusted with ABSA Recovery. I am in the process of applying for a bond, and I had an account of about 10/15 years ago that was never closed. I went into ABSA found out how much I owned - paid the same day - and was told to call back to find out if it was received. I would also have my paid up letter in 3-4 working days. This was last Monday. Called Thursday nothing... Called Friday .... Called again yesterday only TO BE TOLD 5-10 WORKING DAYS . Make up your mind!!!!!! How long does it take for a simple letter to say it is paid up and closed???? Now I call back today (staff is soooooooo unhelpful) only to be told that there are people waiting for letters from end of November!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait that long. All I need is a simple letter and would appreciate this to be sorted out. This is extremely frustrating - what they going to tell me tomorrow ? Everyone is on leave and I can only get it next year!!! Sort this out please.
