Virgin Money Card has lost the plot

Virgin Money has been great all the years of using them. They are however closing down their Credit Card facility by 28 Feb 2021. Their service with regards to assisting customers whose cards are expiring, has been APALLING! Firstly, one ONE email was sent out notifying clients of the news. Secondly, NO ONE has contacted me with regards to my expiring card. I have had to phone Virgin Money up, and received different answers from each and every consultant who has helped me. The last consultant assured me that they would apply for an Absa card for me which my existing card will be transferred me. Upon following up today, NOTHING has been done regarding that. The consultant who answered the phone sounded like he was done with life, and rambled off that he has requested a new replacement card which will arrive within the next 3 days. The second consultant confirmed that NO new replacement cards would be issued due to the closing down of the card division. I was transferred to Absa to open a new account from scratch. With 4 days remaining before the expiration of my current credit card.

Now that they are closing, it seems they have let go of all attempts to serve their customers.
