Virgin Money and ABSA bad customer service

I called virgin money credit card wanting to update my cellphone number. I was told by the consultant that I need to go to the nearest Absa branch and update my details there. I went there and I was told by the Absa bank consultant that their system does not allow them to update Virgin money clients. I then proceeded to call Virgin Money Credit and they told me that they don't do it either. I am being sent from pillar to post. It is frustrating and very unprofessional. I am not going to recommend either of them to anybody.
