Virgin Credit Card Bad Report since 2009

I have paid up my Virgin Credit Card 2009. It still shows as slow payment since then. I never went to debt review as my case never went to court, I paid up all my debt through my own doing. WHAT I don't understand is why could I get car finace through Absa but now that I app**** for a credit card they say I still have bed report with Virgin Credit Card. Please can you remove this negative report on my name. That account was paid up years ago. Also have a standard. Why am I good enough to get vehicle finance but not Credit Card finance
