Very long queue times

I have recently had the misfortune of trying to open two youth accounts with ABSA. One would think that this new business of potentially new life long customers would be prioritised, but sadly it is not. I recently had to wait 45 min in the relatively empty Menlyn Maine branch before I could get assisted, with other customers not in the queue periodically being seen prior to me. I waited so long that I've now decided that my kids deserve a better financial service provider for their financial futures.
