VERY FRUSTRATED BY THE TREATMENT FROM ABSA VEHICLE FINANCE

ABSA VEHICLE FINANCE:

I have app**** to capitalization on my arrears since June, i am yet to get feedback. yesterday i was told it was approved i must wait 2 weeks for finalization, how ever its been months, below email was sent to Absa no feedback was received. i get calls everyday: I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to address a matter that has been causing me increasing concern. Firstly, I would like to extend my gratitude for your visit to my house yesterday. Your assistance was greatly appreciated.

Regrettably, a situation unfolded where an unforeseen event led to the withdrawal of funds from my account. I had sent my son to withdraw money from the ATM, and he mistakenly believed that the machine had retained my card. Tragically, by the time I realized the situation and took the necessary steps to stop my card, the damage had already been done. This unfortunate sequence of events resulted in a financial setback that I could not have anticipated.

Following your visit, I received a call today that has left me deeply concerned. Despite our ongoing communication with the bank since June regarding the arrears balance on my account, there seems to be an unexpected increase. Yesterday, the arrears balance stood at ZAR 4,900, but today it has surged to ZAR 5,090. This development has taken me by surprise.

I have been diligently engaging with the bank, making calls, and following up to address this issue promptly. My objective has been to reach a resolution and gain insight into the status of the restructuring process that was initially discussed back in June. I have been eagerly awaiting feedback from the bank regarding the proposed restructuring of the arrears amount. Regrettably, it has predominantly been my initiative to seek updates, as the bank's communication has waned.

Given the proactive approach I have taken and the time invested in this matter, it is distressing to witness an increase in the arrears balance without any corresponding feedback on the restructuring proposal. I genuinely believed that the lack of communication from the bank indicated that the restructuring was completed. However, the recent call has caused significant confusion.

With this in mind, I kindly request that you intervene and ensure that the arrears balance remains at the previous amount of ZAR 4,900. This request is not an attempt to evade my financial responsibilities, but rather a plea to allow the bank an opportunity to provide the necessary feedback and clarification on the proposed restructuring that has been pending since June. I am committed to resolving this matter collaboratively and responsibly.

I greatly appreciate your assistance in addressing this matter promptly and effectively. It is essential for me to gain clarity on the status of the arrears balance and the restructuring proposal. Your support in ensuring transparent communication and timely action would be invaluable.

I eagerly await your response and a resolution to this matter.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Warm regards,

Phumi Nzama ***
