Vehicle Loan Debit Order

<p>I bought a new vehicle and obtained a loan from ABSA.</p> <p>Obviously we signed contract indicating what bank account ABSA should debit from.</p> <p>ABSA manages to debit money from my wife's account. I am sure that is against the law?</p> <p>We reversed the debit order immediately, informed ABSA of THEIR mistake and made arrangements that they can debit my account immediately.</p> <p>I also made sure that I will not be penalised for THEIR mistake.</p> <p>ABSA can't seem to get the debit order straight.</p> <p>I am getting calls from ABSA Credit stating that I am at fault.</p> <p>I made a manual payment already, sent through the proof of payment already but still I get phone calls stating that I am at fault.</p> <p>I am at a loss at how poor this bank service is.</p>
