Utter disgusting service

I app**** for an a personal loan on my internet banking profile. Sent through the supporting documentation same day and I received an automated email informing me that my application has been forwarded to a Consultant who will contact me shortly. Clearly their definition of "shortly" and mine differ. I called the Telephone banking facility 2 days later and I was informed that some lady by the name of Thando is currently working through my application, when the Consultant who was assisted went to check on her she was not at desk. I called the next again and I was informed that my application was with the credit assess and when the Consultant went looking for Thando, again she was not at her desk and I was assured she will call me before close of business. Well close of business came and gone. I called today and I was put on hold her 15 minutes, then I get asked if I submitted the supporting documentation that was required, I mean is that not something you check for first as a Consultant (Thando), who is actually assessing the application?? Again Thando is not at her desk when feedback is required. So much for the application taking 1-3 days to be processed, its almost a week now and nothing from Absa. Honestly, this is just uttered horrible and disgusting service more especially towards a client who has been with the bank almost their entire life. Its time for change and I am definitely moving my accounts elsewhere. I can pay more on bank charges and get better service than this. Absa doesn't deserve such loyalty!!!!!!!!!!
