Using way outdated Credit Bureau data
I want to increase my credit card limit. Phoned Virgin Money, which works through ABSA to do this. They told me there are stuff on my bureau report that does not allow me to apply for an increase. The stuff they referring to is more than 3 months old and long time paid off. Why is ABSA using a useless Credit Bureau? Can you please tell me which Bureau you are using? Nedbank and FNB are very clever. They do not remove old things of people's reports. That means the client is forced to go back to them if they would like credit, because ABSA is still picking up old stuff that is not relevant anymore.
