As a result of Covid, my mother and father both died. We buried them on 15th May 2021. To date, we have not been able to claim even for funeral cover. We cannot wait for the court's executor's letter to claim for a funeral cover. My mom's account keeps being debited despite being listed as a late estate. Does each segment of the bank need to be notified separately for that so that her stuff can be marketed late Estate? One manager at your insurance division insinuated at some point that I must go to Covid ICU and get my father to sign so we could claim for my mother's funeral cover. My mother passed away on 9 May 2021 and my father passed away on 12 Mah 2021. Despite the insensitive approach from a so called manager, I had to remind her that my father is not illiterate and won't sign something he didn't read first. Given that my father's health was also hanging by the threat at the time, I could come risk breaking the news of my mom's passing to him in that inhumane and cold manner.
We've had to borrow money to be able to have a funeral afteral as we couldn't wait for this long. Is there anyway we can be helped with funeral covers claims and ensuring we reverse debit orders that went off my mother's account when her account should have an estate late hold on it? I personally reported her death same day to the bank
