Unwillingness to assist

Good day

I have been battling to get assistance from ABSA regarding my installment reduction. I was financed in April 2016 for a Hyndai i20 of which the first premium was deducted on the 1st June 2016. I am now going through some financial difficulties of which I had app**** for to get another vehicle that would give me a lesser installment than what I am expected to pay for the next 5 years.

Luckily I did get approved on 1 June 2016 , however, when I went to Imperial Select on 04 June 2016 to sign up a contract for a Kia Picanto, which I would pay a lesser premium, only then was the dealership was advised that the settlement amount of the currect vehicle has a shortfall of R 56 000 and the bank isn't willing to sign if off, they expect me to come up with the funds but how? I also went to the Hyndai dealership of which I was advised of the same thing.

I just drove the car for two months and am advising my CREDIT PROVIDER that I am not going to be able to meet the payment in due time and looking for a solution around the matter but am not going anywhere. The last thing I want is to be listed on ITC as a slow payer and have a negative credit record.

ABSA has financed my first vehicle and I was able to pay up for two years without fail until it was written off this April due to an accident and I also have a credit card by them that I always pay in time, the least they can do to is to meet me half way. When I go to a branch they tell me to call a number call centre, when I call the vehicle finance department they send me from pillar to post. I am not saying I can't pay but am requesting for a better deal so you don't find yourselves in the losing end because the worse that could happen to me is being blacklisted whereelse you could lose a lot of money due to non payment.

May I have someone with authority who is willing to assist me as month end is fast approaching and would appreciate some solution.

Regards

NONO
