Unsecure banking with Absa - URGENT - *****

I have called the ***** line and help line. I also visited the branch. I do not know what to do now because everybody at Absa is brushing me off saying that not much can be done except logging the incident by email. I have done this. I cannot understand how unsecure it is to use Absa. The sms that I received states "reserved". How can a transaction be reserved without our approval??

We did not sign up for online shopping when opening the account.

I was told that once someone has details of the card including the CVV, they can use it to do transactions. I do not believe this story. If I go to Pick n Pay and the cashier manages to quickly take a picture of both sides of my DEBIT card, then will he/she be able to extract funds without my approval? That is definitely the silliest thing and if it is true then Absa is lagging way behind with its systems. I have contacted other banks and was told that this is not the case.

From my understanding, a pin code, OTP or 3D secure code will be needed.
