Unprofessional behaviour by ABSA and so called employee regarding ABSA vehicle finance account

Bad experience with my ABSA Vehicle finance.

A man called Lucas Lourens came to a family members house claiming to work for ABSA with a vehicle with branding of Rainbow Painters.

He did not identify himself or have any documentation with him. Mr Lourens was unprofessional and rude. I asked him to speak in an respectful manner, but he refused.

I found out his surname by looking up the name that was on the bakkie he was driving.

The information he had was not my information, for example the tel no and address.

ABSA has not made contact with me nor did I get a any notice that the bank will repossess the vehicle if a payment is not made.

Mr Lourens came to the residence past 6pm on the 28th June 2025 that is a Saturday.

Mr Lourens claimed a amount outstanding that does not correspond with the statement of ABSA.

If this person represents ABSA then there is a serious issue. This gentleman has no propper means of dealing with people. He also claimed he got my family members address through SAPS and Natis.

Mr Lourens stays in Mosselbay.

I would like to clarify again that at no time did ABSA contact me via email or via my cellphone to state that the vehicle would have to be repossessed. Mr Lourens also did not have any such documentation.

I have made a payment and would like ABSA to clarify why the address and contact no was not my own on the paper that he had and also on the statement is not the address I gave ABSA when signing the contract. I have no idea where ABSA got that information from.

I see on Hellopeter on the 06/12/2022 by Mandla G that is a ABSA client also had an issue with Mr Lourens and it seems that ABSA promised to look into it but it seems that nothing were done about Mr Lourens.

I urgently needs this issue to be resolved.
