Unprofessional and ********* service of Absa Brackenfell

Our institution has been a customer of what is now ABSA Bank since 1976. Our account is serviced by the Brackenfell branch of Absa in Cape Town. Due to unforseen circumstances we had to make drastic changes to out accounting and payroll system and had to outsource our accounting and payroll service at very short notce. Absa Brackenfell who hold our bank account, naturally had a major roll to play in this regard. Our expectation was that they would support and assist us in this process in our "hour of need" Our hopes and expectations were however not met, to say the least. We have been struggling since 27 March 2018 to get things moving and are still nowhere, or not nearly at the point where our bank account is again fully operational. The "I'm doing you a favour" you have "to wait in line" or "wait your turn" of Me Amanda Jordaan, our socalled relationship manager, was both a shock and a bad dream, which is continueing as this review is being written. The attitude of the socalled branch manager Me Amanda Lategan who we then called upon was even more shocking. She offered no assistance but went further even than Me Jordaan and discussed our problems and differences with another customer. When it was pointed out to her that this was both unprofessional and *********, she ignored it completely and did not even attempt to offer an apology. The matter has at our request been brought to the attention of the regional manager Mr Willem Nel, on whom we now pin our hopes and dream. Mr Nel we hope you will make this bad dream go away!!! Absa Brackenfell will most definately never see us again!!!
