Unilateral changes of Contract.
Firstly, I need to express to how disappointed I am with AVAF and their deliberate disregard of my attempts to resolve my issues.
AVAF decide to allocate one of my vehicle instalments to the capital amount and thus increase the number of instalments and equally extending the payment term without my consent or agreement. This move is basically in contravention of clause 18 and particularly clause 18.2 of the contract that I have signed.
I have been trying to resolve this matter since the 2nd week of June 2019. At some point, I spoke to one Lorenzo Van Kramberg; he promised to take this up with his manager and provide me with feedback. Sadly, until to date I have not heard from him and I have left him a million messages as he is not available every time I call. I think it is safe to conclude that ABSA tolerates such behaviour and it is probably one of the set standard as individuals on management level also conducts themselves in the same way. I have spoken to numerous consultants who attempted to get one Faheed or Faraad (apparently a manager) to attend to my problem but he is forever unavailable to immediately take my call and has promised; in vain, to return my calls. Until to date, I have not received any call from the said manager.
The contract has ended and I have covered the total number instalments but I am sitting with on outstanding balance which they have also failed debit at the end of the month. I need to have this resolved urgently and ensure that this will not affect me nor my credit record!
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We will investigate the matter and furnish feedback once matter has been resolved.
