Unhelpful ABSA ***** team

I logged a ***** case with, reference number ASZA-2***8. I was ****med by two people who pretended to sell a property.

I asked that if they can put a Bank wide block on the client and associated accounts that the money was sent to. Initially there seemed to be urgency to assist me, The consultant told me the account was frozen however when I followed up to check if this is the case and were the other accounts blocked but I was told that that information cannot be disclosed.

A case has been opened and the police has requested information from the Bank and no feedback has been provided. What the Bank doesn’t appreciate is that the longer this takes, more people are impacted by this syndicate.

All I want is justice and I was hoping that Absa, would assist but I was wrong. All I need is Absa is to assist with putting a Bank wide block on this person, assist or respond to the police request for information as quick as possible.
