Received a SMS from vehicle finance stating due to BLACK FRIDAY the debit order will be process earlier than usual. Debited on the 28 Nov 2025. What absolute nonsense to use Black Friday as the excuse to move the debit order forward. Black Friday got nothing to do with my debit date arrangements with the bank. Black Friday is not a Public Holiday to justify the changes. Black Friday do not determent my pay date of salary. This is another way for the bank to obtain bank cost if the debit order is missed, how convenient for ABSA to make up cost and I have to pay R150 for debit order missed due to your Black Friday excuse. Very disappointed to use an excuse Black Friday to forward debit orders deduct date, Really??????
