Unfortunate Experience with ABSA: A Review of Financial Oversight and Customer Service

All my assets, both fixed and movable, are financed through ABSA. However, they neglected to deduct my vehicle finance and only informed me of this oversight ten(10) months after the fact. Subsequently, they transferred the account to SAFM. Initially, I attempted to negotiate a payment arrangement based on my financial capabilities, but my proposal was promptly rejected. The tracer then persistently warned me about legal proceedings under Section 129. How can I be subjected to such measures when ABSA failed to notify me promptly about the missed debit order, especially when all other deductions were executed as scheduled? Furthermore, they declined my proposed arrangement. In addition to the economic challenges already faced, exacerbated by national economic conditions, creditors such as these fail to collect payments in a timely manner, further detrimentally impacting the debtor. To compound matters, the tracer advised me against disclosing our communication regarding Section 129 to ABSA. It is difficult to decide whether to react with amu*****t or frustration towards this situation.

To rate them 1 star at this point is too much.
