UNFAIRNESS GOING ON

It has come to my attention to request an intervention from anyone who knows how to look into the matter I have with Absa finance vehicle and plea with the NCC to look into transparency and fairness in this matter. My car got written off sometime January this year and my insurance paid what was due to Absa according to the figures Absa issued them, and later on I was advised by my insurance that Absa will call me regarding the Excess and storage fee payment that I need to pay to Absa direct because they will be deducting it from whole amount they are going to pay to pay. In that case they paid and the amount I was suppose to pay to Absa was R 4900 , which I followed up with them to ask when and how must this amount be paid. The lady I spoke to towards end January said their collections will call me as to how to settle that. Few months later after I have been trying to call them without no luck because you hold forever online and no one answers I managed to speak to some one who advised my case is suddenly with their collections and its a surprise that they haven't called me back. She advised that I speak to their collection , their collection advised that the account is not with them but with their legal , I was yet again transfered to legal where I spoke to Lulama who gave me the shock of my life that I am actually not owing Absa R4900 I owe them more than R13 000.00 , I asked how does one payment move from R4900.00 to R13 000.00 and the guy failed to utter some sense to me. I am here now seeking help from someone who knows how to explain this unfairness going on please. To my knowledge when insurance asked for the settlement figure , it was not at any stage asked for discount but basically what I owe Absa to the last cent. Absa please note that I am still not sure how did you get to that figure and not willing to pay it because i was not told of such figures. Please feel free to revert back to all call recorded every-time I called Absa. Someone please help I know am not the only victim

AND THEIR RESPONSE ABSA I AM NOT WILLING TO HEAR FROM YOU, BECAUSE YOU ARE ENFORCING THING AND YOU EVEN ALL UNPROFESSIONAL ABOUT LULAMA. TELL ME SO DOES THIS MAKE SENSE TO YOU THAT ONE PAY R1657.69 THAT WAS NOT INFORMED HOW DID THEY REACH THAT AMOUNT, DO YOU EVEN CARE IF ONE AFFORDS IT, AND TO YOU MATHEMATICALLY PAYING 1657.69 UNTIL 1 November 2020 EQUAL TO R13115.44. YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK THE IS SO MUCH HIDDEN SKELETONS AND LOT OF US ARE UNDER THE UNDUE INFLUENCE DUE TO ABSA AND I WENT THROUGH MY PHONE THE WAS NEVER AN SMS YOU SEND ME , ABSA DOESN'T COMMUNICATE AND NEVER CALLS YOU BACK AS THEY PROMISE EVERY SINCE THIS IS THE FIRST, SECONDLY GO BACK TO THE CALL I MADE LAST WEEK THATS WHERE YOU WILL REALIZED YOU CHANGED AND UPDATED MY CONTACT NUMBER OTHER THAN THAT YOU HAD NOTHING HENCE THE WAS NEVER COMMUNICATION FROM YOU. >>> "Mdluiwa, Lulama: Absa" ********** 2018/06/06 13:30 >>> Good Afternoon Miss TI Moalahi As per our telephone discussion I have explained to you that your Insurance had requested a Settlement Amount(Early Buyout) from us that was quoted on the 12/1/2018 valid until the 19/1/2018 for an amount of R153,074.86. We received a payment from them on the 17/1/2018 for an amount of R148,129.60 which results to the Full Settlement amount not being honored and leaving you with a Shortfall Amount of R4,945.26. On the 23/1/18 at 10:23 Ria Lampbrecht sent an SMS to cellphone number ********** 671 informing you that your insurance did not settle in full may you please contact Absa Legal Department for payment arrangements on the outstanding balance. In our previously discussion I had also informed you that Absa Bank did an interest adjustment on the shortfall amount which was worked out to the amount of R13115.44 and your installment amount being calculate at R1657.69 until the 1/11/2020 which is the Expiry Date on your contact. The current arrears amount on your account is R6687.07 as we have not received any payments on for your installment from the 15/2/2018 until the 15/5/2018. Please do note that I have provided you with feedback regarding the call recording that you requested and you had also informed me that the amount of R4,945.26 was given to you by your insurance & Absa Bank. They failed to inform you that they short paid on a settlement which resulted in us explaining the difference between a Settlement Amount & an Outstanding Balance. In our conversation you also informed me that you will not be paying the outstanding balance R13115.44 we should process with the account being transferred over to Absa Recoveries Department.
