Unfair penalty

I have a cheque account with Absa. On 2017/06/30 two entries reflect on the account, a debit and a credit (my monthly pension). On my statement the debit shows 1st, resulting in a negative balance. The next entry on the same date was my monthly pension resulting in a positive balance for the day of 2017/06/30. So, my account closing balance for 2017/06/30 was positive. I was fined a penalty of R100 for going into an overdraft after the first entry BUT the final balance was not in overdraft for the date of 2017/06/30. I went to a branch to complain only to find the employee laughing at me because of me being upset about the R100. I believe this an unfair way of earning money.
