unfair bussiness practice

my name is desmond jordaan and i had a bond with absa***) which i paid monthly without fail untill it was paid in full. On completion of my contract i requested from absa my documents for my house, my deed of sale. Instead i received a letter from couzyns inc. attorneys requesting a payment of R3015-00 before i can get my papers. I was never told that i have to make a payment and why do i have to do it if i never failed once to pay my bond. Also i never had dealings with these lawers who i don't know, so just give me what belong to me so i can apply at another bank for a second morgage. The letter states the following:<br> drawing a necessary consent to cancel=R1650-00<br> admin fees=R450-00<br> vat=R294-00<br> electronic instruction=R250-00<br> deeds office search=R100-00<br> deeds office registration fee=R100-00<br> total R3015-00<br> What the hell is all this and why do i have to pay. is it not the duty of absa to ensure i get my documentation when i am finished paying or is this just another **** to get money from the poor. i am seeing the banking ombudsman on monday and is gatvol of this big companies taking the poor for a ride. never again will i deal with you. i am going to change my bank.
