UNFAIR BLACKLISTING

My daughter took over the re-payment for her study loan with ABSA. Unfortunately she was retrenched. She submitted all the relevant documents to confirm she was retrenched to ABSA. She recently recieved an SMS notifying her that her account has been handed over to the attorneys. She wasnt even given an option to put the account on hold until she gets another job and carry on with the repayment as soon as she gets one. She now cannot get any jobs because of this blacklisting by ABSA. I feel this is very unfair. Students normally are given a change to repay their study loans when they are working e.g NEFSAS. I need ABSA to remove the Blacklisting until my child fins a decent Job and she will deffinately repay the loan. If they remove the blacklisting they will be giving her a chance to get employment as it is, she can't. Imagine as young as 25 already blaclisted this decreases any chance for her to apply for any loan in the future because there is a bad record in her name.
