<p> Extremely disappointed in the way my claim on insurance was dealt with.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />I wrote to Zininzi Nogoma in Head office regarding a claim on insurance. In 2014 a fire broke out in my granny flat and damaged the sealing as well as electrical works. The cause of the fire was unknown to me, as I had extinguished it myself and the fire department arrived afterwards. As mentioned to Zininzi Nogoma I then explained to her about my health issues I had at that time and that I was in no state to go through this lengthy process.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Zininzi Nogoma then arranged for an Assessor to come view the damages and sent a guy named Dean, which was of no help and did not understand that fires can cause corrosion as he explained insurance does not cover corrosion.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />My problem is with both the above name persons at ABSA...No one bothered to come back to me with any news on my clam. This is unprofessional to say the least. Despite numerous emails to Zininzi Nogoma regarding a follow up it clearly shows she does not care.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />NOW. I would like Zininzi Nogoma or her manager to come back to me regarding my claim as mentioned my daughter occupies the granny flat with 2 very small children and this is a serious health risk.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Secondly I want an insurance letter explaining what I am covered for.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Thirdly I need my original copy of the home loan taken out.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />I trust this will be dealt with swiftly.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Contact number: ********** 5463</p> <p> </p> <p><br />Email address: **********
