uncompetitive home loan grant

Good day, I have app**** for a home loan via a bond originator, and have received multiple AIPs/grants.

My bank, Absa, was not one of the better rates. On requesting a revision, the deposit was waived and I received the same rate. For reference my current home loan rate is 2% LOWER than what was offered.

I understand different climate/value but not to get a competitive rate or even anything close to what I currently have is disturbing. I have been with Absa over 16 years, I have ALL my accounts with Absa yet it seems client loyalty does not exist.

If you talk credit score or affordability, I have a excellent credit score and report nor is affordability an issue.

I would like to motivate for a revision for an improved rate, please advise. Thank you

Good day. I was told I would receive feedback by Friday 14:00. I communicated that to the relevant parties involved in the purchase of the new property. I did not receive feedback, so to the other parties I now seem unreliable. Please advise.
Thank you

Thank you
FNB has forwarded their grant to me with 1% less than Absa. And this on the back of me telling them on Friday to hold as I am waiting for my own bank (Absa) to respond. Lets put this in perspective, another bank has reviewed and presented their offer BEFORE my own bank has provided complete feedback to this review.
