UNCARING AND ONLY CARES ABOUT OWN FINCANCIAL GAIN
My mom passed away in February and my brother and I are heirs to her estate. The estate executor is ABSA and they want to close the estate as there is sufficient funds to cover commision. We as heirs request that my mothers property first be sold and funds then be divided, neither of us stay in the town her property is situated and don't intend to reside on the property. The best they offer to do is to have the property registered in both our names (and at our expense for registration) and then we must sell it in our own time. Sad thing is that a financial institution should give the best possible financial advice and not just be in the business for own financial gain. Everytime I have to speak to someone I get condescending responses with no caring. We have sent a request to the Master (as a L&D account was already sent for his approval) to please grant us another four months to give us the time to sell the property (a copy of this was also emailed to ABSA and couriered both to ABSA and the Master). Now there is another offer in line and ABSA denies ever recieving any such request and support from them is non existent. PLEASE ASSIST US - THE HEIRS to have our request noticed
