UNBELIEVABLY INEFFICIENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE FROM ABSA
It would appear that some ABSA staff derive a morbid pleasure out of irritating their clients.
I am the financial manager of a CC.
On 9.9.21, we received an email from the Relations Manager regarding "Restrictive Control in terms of Fica Regulations". The letter basically threatened to freeze our account if we did not submit certain "required documents". However, the letter did not state which documents were required.
On 14.10.21, I wrote to the Relations Manager enquiring which documents were required. My email went unanswered.
On 27.10.2021, I received the same threatening letter and, again, emailed the gentleman requesting information re the documents.
On 27.10.2021, he rep**** with the information.
On 3.11.2021, I sent the required documents to this gentleman and thought the matter was settled.
Again, my email went unanswered.
On 3.12.2021, I received the same threatening letter from this Relations Manager.
I cannot believe the level of ineptitude which we, as clients, are expected to tolerate and this seems to be widespread at ABSA.
In the past, I have written to one of the business managers to explain ABSA's "Digital Transfer Fees". That gentleman also couldn't be bothered to reply to my email.
It is no wonder that clients are leaving ABSA! !
"Our office received confirmation that you were contacted and they apologise for the poor service received. They also confirmed that the FICA on your account is updated and you are able to transact on your account. Please accept our sincere apology for any inconvenience caused. "
I thought that meant that the matter was "closed" But, lo and behold, I received another threatening email from the Relationship Manager, Mr Wayne Kader! He seems determined to chase his customers away. Well, he can say "goodbye" to this one. GOOD BYE!!
