Unauthorized debit order

I have/had funeral cover with ABSA LIFE for.7 years now. I changed banks where my debit orders should be deducted from & informed them. I've been sending numerous emails to get them to debit from the correct bank without winning. Beginning of May & end of May, finally deducted. To my surprise, after end of May deduction, 2 days later, I received an sms that my policy lapsed. I ignored the sms as de it order went through. In June I expected debit order, it wss never deducted. May I kindly be refunded my May premium, there's no way I can be debited for a lapsed policy
