Unauthorized Debit

ABSA created a Journal debit on my transitional account (Savings) without making contact with me or to confirm the transaction. This has created a problem for me as the funds debited are meant for my elderly Mothers medication which i am unable to buy now. This kind of service is very poor and leaves a bad taste in customer's mouth. I would not have known about it if I did not have internet banking, because there is no notification to this effect as well considering that it is festive season and cyber ********s are at rive. I phoned the call center and after being on the line for almost 20 minutes I was cut off.

I will soon be closing my account with ABSA. I have never received such poor service from a bank.
