Unauthorized car insurance and ****** refund by Absa Vehicle Finance

Absa Vehicle finance decided to add insurance to my vehicle payment without my knowledge and consent, i realized this as i went through my statement after the monthly payment was too high and I started struggling with the payments of my vehicle. the insurance was R 2000 per month i never agreed to this because and i obviously has an existing insurance which was taken out on purchase of my vehicle.

i do not know how Absa decided to just add the insurance without my knowledge and when i asked for this to be removed i was demanded to produce proof of my existing insurance which i did. Ms Ashely from Absa vehicle finance contacted me and explained that i do have a refund due to me. instead of the bank refunding me it continued to use the refund without my knowledge and agreement to pay for my outstanding balance which i believe is yet again an infringement of my consumer rights.

I intend to further this matter further as i see the bank has abused my rights and i demand further to that, that i be refunded what is due to me and i will attend to further payment as per discretion and arrangement thereto.
