UNAUTHORISED JOURNAL DEBITS

Unauthorised "journal debits" just taken from your account, without a call, without authority - Absa just takes money like it suits them. R4000 was deducted from account - I need to pay my attorney for debt review and now Absa has just taken money with no authority!! Not even the installment - just as much as they want to. I have been under financial strain for sometime and under debt review. I also suffered from the Covid 19 pandemic and was unemployed for 3 months. Debt review customers WERE treated differently and didnt get "payment relief" yet we all suffered from the same pandemic. I am aware that I am in arrears, I have the attorneys calling me on a daily basis, but I have only started a new job now and need to get my ducks in a row to pay my bills. The attorneys called me to make arrangements - but Absa just TAKES money without my authority and without informing me. The attorneys at least negotiate an installment but ABSA just takes without any consent. If this is the way I am to be treated, I will first bring these unauthorised journal debits to the attention of the Ombudsman and then simply take my salary to a bank that wont ***** my money. I logged a complaint yesterday via action line - I still haven't received a reference number neither have I had any feedback.
