Unauthorised deductions on current account

Hi,

I have a few complaints, I was retrenched as of 1 May 2020. In preparation for no income, I made payment holiday arrangements with ABSA on my credit, effective May 2020. I give myself a small monthly stipend from my savings account so I can make my other bills (levy, water, etc.). This month ABSA took an unauthorised R2350 to pay my credit card even though they’d granted me a payment holiday meant to last until end of July. Can this be remedied? I am not able to make my bills given that a now large chunk of my living stipend has been taken by the bank even under a credit arrangement.

I have received multiple sms informing me my credit card is overlimit and I must rectify, which makes me wonder if there is an issue with comms in their internal systems? Are credit holidays not in sync with their payment systems?

I would appreciate if this were sorted in a timeous manner.

Another issue I have is the unspecified bank charges on my account, last month, a total of R1400 was taken (again, for an unemployed person, this is an incredibly large amount), this month a further R1200 was deducted. The attached message says to check details on my statement, however, the app can only give me a statement until the 24th June 2020. I’m not able to verify or explain the charge.

Can I be assisted with this? Just on ABSA, I have nearly R4000 that went out of my account, unaccounted for. Surely, this is not acceptable?

Assistance would be helpful.
