Unauthorised debits by Absa

Absa has debited my current account for R8000 without any written or verbal communication. The R8000 has been sent to Daly inc who is handling the account, and with whom I have an existing payment arrangement which is honoured every month.Absa is threatening me via Daly inc to increase my monthly repayment on the handed over credit card, or they will not pay back my R8000.I lost my job because the company I used to work for played bankrupt, and that is where my problems started. Before then and since I have clearly shown Absa and Daly that I am not running away from my responsibilities, but can only pay what I can afford.I have since paid of a few outstanding debts at other institutions and really trying my best.I have even told the lady from Daly inc Amina that I can increase my repayment but not to that what Absa is demanding. What is best?Should I pay what I can afford, or just stop and let Absa and Daly inc lose the total outstanding debt?

I urgently need you help, because if this will be the trend of doing business (Absa with me) ,I will seriously reconsider me, my family and friends, future involvement in this ******* way of dealings. The person at Absa who authorised the payment on my behalf is now "dead" and no one can tell me who it is.The current agreement is between me and Daly, whom Absa has instructed to communicate with me.Why haven't they communicated with me ( and 1 missed call from an unknown number proves they were trying to get hold of me???And directly thereafter "*****" the money from my account?I don't think this is fair practise at all.

Dear Nthabiseng

have you received my reply to your question?

I am really in urgent need of this to be resolved.

Absa again confirmed with Daly inc that they will not pay back my money.

I am sorry but if I am not properly helped here my next step is the banking ombudsman, Beeld etc.

I would love to solve this without any of the other but it seems Absa DOES NOT WANT to treat me fairly.

regards
