Unauthorised Debit Orders - Poor service from Absa

Please refer back to HelloPeter review of "A review of Absa by Johan on 6 Jun 2018": This is a follow up to that review.

We had a meeting with Ms Sivagamee Moodley on the 25th of July, discussing the issues at hand. Ms Moodley stated Absa will provide us with the statements for us to work through, identifying all the unauthorised debit orders for them to investigate. On the 10th of August, I followed up per email, just to learn that the statements "was still not ready". Eventually we did receive the statements, which we presented to Absa via email on the 24th of September. Ms Moodley directed an instruction via email to Danel Muller to open the case and keep us up to date. On October 4th I've requested an update as we didn't hear from Absa since the 25th of September. Ms. Marne Newman responded on the same day that the case is with the regional manager, but I never received a response from anybody else. I would like to thank Ms Marne Newman, as she is the only one since this case started that was at all times professional, and responded in timeous fashion. She really provided us with exceptional service. As for the case, and other personnel involved, I would like to state that the actual matter was handled extremely poorly, with no knowledge of Absa's actual policies or know how of how to handle such a case.

This complaint is in hope of getting an actual response from someone at Absa with regards to the case and when we can expect a resolution to the problem of unauthorised debit orders against Mr and Ms Scheepers.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
