Unauthorised debit orders.

I would like to bring to your attention that Absa allows unauthorised debicheck orders. I have had 2 debit orders go off in the last 2 months with only an sms stating this to be the case and not once was I asked for an app authorization code, email or any related request. And the worst part of it all is if you contact them you get give the debtor’s contact details. And even worse than that, the company that debits me has a cellphone contact number and you cannot reach the party. There is something really phishy going on here and Absa have absolutely no will to help. Looks like I am going to have to be forced to change banks soon…
