Unauthorised debit order deduction

<p>for the last two (2) months an unauthorised debit ordervwas deducted from my account with some strange narration/description. The debit order reads PTTMarketing amounting to R79 monthly. I cannot recall authoriising and agreeing to th mentioned debit order to be deducted from my account. I contacted Absa for assistance in getting the mentioned debit order reversed and blocked from my account but the consultant just advised me that they will not be able to assist and that I will have to reverse the debit order myself using the online portal (internet banking) . I followed his instruction and to my suprise I couldnt find the emntioned debit order amongs the list of debit orders deducted from my account hence I couldnt reverse nor block it, I trusted Absa with my money and this is the service I get. Absa should lodge an investigation to the mentioned debit order and block it from my account. I believe there should be policies and procedures with regards to debit orders.</p>
